This past month, the Product Team at Sparkwise released some powerful new tools for client admins and shipped a variety of user experience improvements for session participants. In advance of a video platform change next month, we also began to test our new video platform with clients that have restrictive firewall/network environments to ensure a smooth rollout.

⚙️ For client admins

The admin tool now supports finer-grained access by tab. For admins that only use Analytics, you'll only see the Analytics tab. For admins that schedule sessions, you'll also see the Users and Sessions tab. For admins that manage cohorts, you'll see the new Cohorts tab. Next time you speak with the Success Team, we'll make sure that each person with an admin account has the right access.

For admins who manage multiple cohorts, you can now request self-serve access to a brand-new Cohorts tab. You can use this to create and manage a set of named participant cohorts. All dashboards on the Analytics tab are cohort-aware, and can provide cohort-specific analytics.

When scheduling sessions, the list of available modules has been redesigned to improve usability. You'll find modules grouped by category, and any custom modules that your organization has developed will always appear at the top of the list.

The Analytics tab has a new type of filter available, allowing you to drill down and view certain dashboard for a single module or a single participant.

For session participants

Camera and microphone device selection menus have been reworked to be more intuitive. Take a look inside the camera and microphone menus to see the new layout! 

Post-session review pages can now support web links in the list of Additional Resource (in addition to PDFs and other file downloads.)

The follow-up emails sent a few days after you complete a session will now include the full list of Additional Resources from the review / recap page, with links to view each of these files and links.

Coming soon

We're currently testing out our new video platform, with plans to roll out to all clients over the next month. One new feature that you'll find after we roll this out is the option to turn on and off background blur on your video feed when participant in Sparkwise sessions.
