This January, we're empowering client admins with new API capabilities and expanded customization options. Organizations looking to integrate Sparkwise more deeply with their existing systems now have access to a robust Account API, while those embedding session registration in their LMS or LXP benefit from enhanced customization and streamlined user experiences. Here are the details:
For client admins
We're excited to introduce the Sparkwise Account API, designed for organizations that want to integrate custom learning or HR systems with Sparkwise. This new API allows technical teams in client organizations to programmatically read and write data to their Sparkwise organization accounts.
The Account API currently supports:
- User provisioning and management
- Read access to session clusters
- Read access to participant completion data
This is particularly valuable for enterprise deployments looking to sync user data, automate reporting workflows, or create custom integrations with existing HR and learning systems. Contact [email protected] if you would like to discuss using this API.
For clients already embedding cluster self-registration forms in their LMS or LXP, we've introduced two new enhancements to streamline the participant experience:
First, clients that provision users via the Account API now have the ability to simplify the user flow for known users. When enabled, the self-registration form that users see in their LMS/LXP won't need to ask them for an email address during the registration flow—creating a more seamless experience.
Second, these embedded self-registration forms can now be customized to match your LMS/LXP color scheme. You can adjust the interface colors to create a consistent branded experience across your learning platforms.
We've also expanded our communications customization capabilities. Client admins can now request customizations to their communications settings at both the account level and the cohort level. For those who prefer to manage these customizations directly rather than working with our team, reach out to [email protected] and we can configure direct access for you.
For client admins and session participants
Rescheduling is now supported in more situations—both by participants and by client admins—when moving to a new timeslot option within a session cluster. This expanded flexibility makes it easier to accommodate schedule changes and ensures that more participants can find times that work for them.
Looking forward
We're continuing to enhance our API capabilities and expand integration options for enterprise clients and platform partners. Stay tuned for more updates on programmatic access and customization features in the coming months.
That's the update for this month!
