This June, we refreshed the look of participant emails and clarified waiting room messaging for dynamic grouping sessions. Client admins got a live email previewer and a faster Communications tab, plus new French and Italian transcription support in Insights. And we're excited to introduce Sparkwise Architect, our new authoring tool for custom module development. Here are the details:
✨ For session participants
Session-related emails now have fresh new styling, for a cleaner, more polished look every time participants hear from us.
We've also made the waiting room experience clearer for sessions that use dynamic grouping. While being matched into a group, participants will now see accurate, specific messaging that reflects exactly what's happening, including:
- Waiting to be matched
- Arriving late to a session
- Currently being matched into a group
- Joining a group that's already started
- No group currently available
⚙️ For client admins
Client admins now have access to a live email previewer for each customizable message type sent to participants, making it easy to see exactly what participants will receive before it goes out.
We've also made performance improvements across the admin experience — the Communications tab, along with the rest of the admin dashboard, is now noticeably faster to load and navigate.
For admins using our Insights tool, session transcriptions can now detect and transcribe French and Italian, in addition to English.
🏛️ Introducing Sparkwise Architect
For client admins who work with us on custom modules, we're excited to introduce Sparkwise Architect, our new authoring tool for module development.
Architect structures the module-building process into a series of phases, moving from a rough initial idea all the way to a participant-ready module. Along the way, it helps authors iterate until a module meets our bar for exceptional pedagogical design.
Authors stay in control of how — and how much — Architect uses AI, thanks to an autonomy dial: dial it up for full agentic functionality, or dial it down for more focused, hands-on use. Architect was also built for real-time collaboration, so authors, subject matter experts, reviewers, and AI agents can all work together in the same space.
Reach out to us if you're interested in seeing Architect in action.
That's the update for this month!
