Product Updates: September 2025
This month, we've focused on making Sparkwise easier to integrate into your existing learning ecosystem and on giving client admins more powerful tools to manage and communicate with participants at scale. We've introduced LMS/LXP integration with self-registration, live broadcast messaging for in-session communication, and enhanced PDF support for richer content experiences. Here are the details:
⚙️ For client admins
We're excited to introduce LMS/LXP integration with self-registration, a capability we've heard many of you ask for. When this feature is enabled for your account, you can schedule a cluster of sessions for a selected module at the dates and times you choose, then embed a self-registration form directly into your organization's learning platform via iframe.
This means participants can browse available timeslot options and sign up for sessions without requiring any additional action from you as the admin. The experience is seamless—participants see the offering in their familiar learning environment and can register on the spot. And if a participant later needs to switch to a different timeslot, they can handle this independently through Sparkwise emails, calendar invites, or their dashboard link. We see this as a major step forward for enterprise deployments and high-volume programs. Contact us if you'd like to learn more about enabling this capability for your organization.
Client admins also gained a new real-time communication tool this month: live broadcast messaging. During any active session, you can now send a short text message that will be displayed to all participants currently in that session. This is particularly useful for time-sensitive announcements or schedule changes that need to reach everyone immediately.
Finally, we've expanded the types of content you can include in custom-built modules. Sparkwise sessions now support PDF document step types, including multi-page PDFs. This opens up new possibilities for incorporating reference materials, worksheets, case studies, and other document-based content directly into your session flows.
✨ For session participants
We've improved the experience for participants who miss a session that was offered at multiple timeslots. Previously, rescheduling required reaching out to an admin or navigating through multiple steps. Now, participants who miss a multi-timeslot session will receive a dedicated follow-up email that makes it easy to reschedule for an available future timeslot. This streamlined flow helps ensure participants can get back on track quickly without administrative friction.
The new PDF support also enhances the session experience for participants. You may now encounter rich document-based content—including multi-page PDFs—as part of your session activities, providing more diverse and comprehensive learning materials.
Looking forward
We're currently working on a second level of communications customizations. In addition to customizing at the organization level, we're looking to enable customization at the cohort level. This will enable organizations that use Sparkwise in many different ways to create communications appropriately tailored to each cohort or program.
We're also continuing our platform scalability work to support even larger deployments.
That's the update for this month!
